Appointment Prep:

*Shower, shave, and exfoliate well the night before or day of appointment.

*Avoid  body oils the day before and of appointment.

*Avoid tanning beds or outdoor tanning that may create sunburn or deep tan lines 5-7 days prior to appointment. 

*We do not encourage airbrush tanning if your are sunburned or peeling from sunburn or other skin irritations.  Wait until your skin heals.

What to wear for your appointment:

*This will depend on your comfort level! Product will wash out of any undergarments or bathing suits. What you choose to wear (or not wear) for your tan appointment is up to you. 

Post Appointment:

*Bring loose dark clothing to leave your appointment in.

*Avoid heavy sweating and getting wet for a minimum of 8 hours (12 hours is encouraged). 

*Showering 12 hours or more post appointment is encouraged. 

*The DHA in tanning solution continues to fully develop for 24 hours.

*You may feel a bit sticky for a couple of hours post appointment. This is normal. You may feel like you look "dirty" at first, but after rinsing your tan should look smooth and clean.

*Rinsing/showering post appointment:

We encouraging rinsing with warm (not hot) water. Avoid scrubbing the skin during the rinse process. Avoid anything exfoliating.

*Expect to see "rinse off" in the shower. It is totally normal for extra solution not absorbed to appear when rinsing post tan appointment. Continue to rinse until the rinse off residue disappears. 

*How to extend the life of your airbrush tan: 

After initial rinse or shower, keeping skin hydrated with skin moisturizers will extend your tan life. Avoid skin exfoliation while maintaining your spray tan. Your tan should fade naturally, however excessive showering and shaving will result in a quicker fade.

Once your tan fades:

Once your airbrush tan fades (1-2 weeks determined on the maintenance care), the best way to remove any left discoloration is by exfoliating the dryer areas that are holding the extra color. Compete tan removal products are available online or as suggested by your airbrush technician.  

Maintenance Airbrush Tanning is encouraged every 10-14 days
